THE CABINS Kootenay Lodge and Farm, previously known as Shutty Bench Lodge and Farm has been operating as summer tourist rental cabins for over twenty years. Its reputation for quality housing and spectacular views has kept customers returning. Visitors come from all over the world for rest and recreation and to enjoy the farm and private beach. There are three back-to-back duplex cabins that are each three storeys having unfinished basements for storage. The cabins have two adjoining bedrooms on the top floor and a full kitchen, bathroom, dining area and livingroom on the main floor. Cabins have received new decks in the past three years and the kitchens and floors have been renovated. The cabins are heated with electrical baseboard heating.
